Wolfburn, 8 years - Northland 70cl

Wolfburn Northland is a single malt whisky from Thurso, in northern Scotland. The distillery reopened in 2013 on the site of a whisky distillery that had been established in 1821. Northland is matured entirely in American oak quarter casks. This type of cask is smaller than a standard cask, allowing the whisky to have more contact with the wood. This 8-year-old expression is very lightly peated (5ppm), not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.
