Matusalem Insolito Wine Cask is an exclusive rum from the Dominican Republic, limited to 8,000 bottles. The base is solera-aged rum, in which younger and older layers are carefully blended for a consistent flavor. The rum is then supplemented with Gran Reserva 15 Solera and aged for three years in Tempranillo wine barrels. This process gives the rum a natural salmon pink color and subtle aromas of fruit, wood, and wine. Insolito Wine Cask stands out for its rosé-like appearance, while tasting like a creamy, fruity rum with a delicate wine note. Bottled at 40% alcohol.
