Vink - Moscatel Finish 70cl

Vink 6 Years Moscatel de Setúbal Finish is a Dutch single malt whisky that, after six years of aging, receives an additional period in casks that previously held Moscatel wine from Setúbal, Portugal. Moscatel is a fortified sweet wine, and the casks impart residual sugars and wine aromas to the whisky. It first matures in bourbon barrels before moving to the Moscatel casks to develop its final character. This second maturation brings notes of apricot, almond and a touch of light honey. The whisky is bottled at 43,7%. Total production is limited to 400 bottles. Vink works in small batches, ensuring that each release is crafted with care.
