Senior & Co - Orange Curaçao 70cl

Senior & Co Orange Curaçao is a citrus liqueur from Curaçao, made from the peel of the laraha orange. This local fruit is a descendant of the Valencia orange and has a bitter peel suitable for distillation. The peels are sun-dried and then steeped in alcohol. The mixture is distilled in copper stills using a traditional process. This results in a clear orange liqueur with a distinct orange aroma from natural extracts. The main difference with Blue Curaçao is the color. Both have the same orange flavor and are produced in a similar way. Blue Curaçao gets its color from added coloring, while Orange Curaçao retains its natural color. The liqueur is often used in cocktails such as the Margarita and Mai Tai, but can also be enjoyed neat or over ice. Senior & Co is one of the few producers that uses only laraha peels from Curaçao.
