Jägermeister means “hunting master.” Because founder Curt Mast was a passionate hunter himself, he dedicated his invention to hunters. The deer head on the label refers to the legend of Saint Hubert, the patron saint of hunters. Jägermeister contains 56 herbs, but the exact recipe has always been kept secret since the beginning. This recipe has remained unchanged for more than 80 years. Jägermeister Liqueur is a delicious herbal liqueur from the Jagermeister brand. This liqueur is distilled in beautiful Germany and bottled at 35% alcohol.
