Glenmorangie, 12 years - Lasanta 70cl

One of the most recognizable brands, Glenmorangie is one of just over a handful of distilleries situated in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth and passion, a reference to not just the use of the sherry butts from Spain, but also to the soft and sweet characteristics of the Lasanta. Aged for 12 years, the Lasanta spent its first 10 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, before receiving an extra maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximènez casks.
