Dalmore - The Quintet 70cl

Dalmore The Quintet takes its name from the five different casks used during the maturation of this Highland Single Malt. Throughout this unique ageing process, the whisky passes through Muscatel, Malmsey Madeira, Matusalem sherry, Port and Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Each stage adds a new layer of flavour, ranging from fruity sweetness to gentle spice and greater depth. Together, the five casks create a rich and beautifully balanced whisky. The distillery is located in Alness, on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, where the cool coastal air has contributed to a slow, even maturation since 1839.
