Balvenie, 12 years - Montilla Wine Seasoned Cask 70cl

Balvenie, founded in 1892, is renowned for its traditional craftsmanship. The distillery grows part of its own barley and has its own cooperage and coppersmith, keeping nearly the entire process in-house. This whisky matures for twelve years and owes part of its character to casks that previously held wine from Montilla, Andalusia. This region is famous for its fortified wines, similar to sherry. The result is an expressive whisky with an alcohol content of 47.3%.
