Strega - Sambuca 70cl

Strega Sambuca is an Italian anise liqueur produced by Distilleria Strega in Benevento. The distillery has been producing a range of liqueurs since 1860 and is best known for its iconic Liquore Strega. This sambuca is made according to the Italian liqueur tradition and features star anise as its primary flavour, complemented by carefully selected botanicals. The result is a liqueur with a distinctive anise aroma, a rich, sweet flavour and a smooth finish. Strega Sambuca can be enjoyed neat, over ice, alongside an espresso or as an ingredient in cocktails. In Italy, sambuca is often served with three coffee beans, a tradition known as con la mosca. The three beans symbolise health, happiness and prosperity. The name "Strega" means "witch" in Italian and refers to the centuries-old legends surrounding the Benevento area. For more than 160 years, Distilleria Strega has been one of Italy's best-known producers of herbal and anise liqueurs.
