Beyoncé has launched her own whiskey brand: SirDavis, a tribute to her great-grandfather Davis Hogue, a Texan moonshiner during Prohibition. The whiskey consists of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, aged in American oak barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. With an alcohol content of 44%, SirDavis is bottled in Texas and presented in a ribbed decanter with a bronze horse medallion, symbolizing strength and her Texan roots.
