Scapa, 16 years 70cl

Since its founding in 1885, the distillery has built a rich tradition. It is located at Scapa Flow, a sheltered sea inlet that played an important role as a naval base during both the First and Second World Wars. This 16-year-old whisky matures entirely in American oak casks. During the aging process on Orkney, the maritime climate and salty sea breeze play an essential role in shaping the whisky’s character. Scapa is, together with Highland Park, one of the few active distilleries on Orkney. Production is relatively small and focused on single malt whisky.
