Nikka - Miyagikyo 70cl
Nikka was founded in 1934, when Masataka Taketsuru built his first distillery in northern Japan, Yoichi, based on the Scottish model. In 1969, Miyagikyou was added, located near Tokyo. Miyagikyou produces a smooth, unpeated malt whisky. It is matured in bourbon casks and, to a lesser extent, in Japanese oak. The climate is fairly mild, which contributes to the smooth, pleasant character of this whisky. It is characterized by light spicy and fruity notes. This whisky is bottled at 45% alcohol.
