Mortlach, 12 years 70cl

Mortlach was the first distillery to be built around the town of Dufftown in 1823. Mortlach uses a special distillation method. Once all the distillates from the various spirit stills have been distilled in their own separate way, they are blended together. The new spirit is then filled into Sherry, Bourbon, and refill casks for maturation. This 12-year-old Mortlach Single Malt, which combines whisky matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks, is a success and combines the best of both worlds.
