Jura 16 Years Old is a charming single malt from the Isle of Jura, a remote part of Scotland’s west coast where calm and the sea set the tone. The whisky is first matured in American bourbon casks before receiving a refined finish in red wine casks from Bordeaux. This combination creates a beautiful balance between sweet vanilla notes and gentle spice. The distillery on Jura is known for its peaceful, almost isolated location and its approachable style of whisky, which is notably mild and less smoky than many other island malts.
