Glen Scotia, 12 years 70cl

This whisky is a 12-year-old single malt from the Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. The distillery has been operating since 1832 and is one of the three remaining distilleries in a region that once had nearly thirty producers. In the 19th century, Campbeltown was known as the whisky capital of the world. The whisky is fully matured in first-fill bourbon casks, is non-chill filtered, and contains no added coloring. The bottle design is inspired by the distillery, featuring royal blue and white as seen in the doors and walls of the buildings. Campbeltown is the smallest official whisky region in Scotland. Its coastal location and long whisky tradition make this whisky an interesting example of the authentic style from this historic region.
