Black Irish - Whiskey With Stout 70cl

Technically, Black Irish isn’t even whiskey. But it is such an innovative whiskey-based spirit that it deserves a place in Tasting Collection’s Tasting Club. At the heart of Black Irish sits a triple-distilled Irish whiskey from the Great Northern Distillery, matured in heavily-charred ex-bourbon barrels. The whiskey is then flavored with strong stout and barrel-aged stout from O’Hara’s, one of the pioneers of the Irish craft beer scene. The beer is also partly used to reduce the bottling strength of Black Irish, which still sits comfortably at 40%.
