Whyte and Mackay is a very refined blend of 'single malts' from the Lowlands, whisky from Campbeltown, and typical malts from Islay.
The unique double maturation process, the 'Double Matured' method, gives this whisky its special character.
One lion on the emblem stands as a sign of remembrance and respect for the family of the founders of this whisky, the other as an ode to Scotland.
Whyte and Mackay is 'blended' by the legendary 'master distiller' Richard Paterson ('The Nose'), who was appointed Whisky Ambassador of the Year in March 2011 at Whisky Magazine's 'Icons of Whisky Awards'.
