About Glenburgie
Glenburgie was founded at the beginning of the 19th century. In 1925, the distillery went bankrupt. George Ballantine & Son took over the distillery in 1936. A few years later, the distillery was acquired by Allied Domecq. Allied Distillers is still the owner of the distillery today. The production is mostly used in blends of Teachers's and Ballantine's.
Glenburgie can only be found as a single malt in independent bottlings.
