It all began in the province of Friesland in the Netherlands with the quirky innkeeper Fedde Sonnema, who created Sonnema using his own recipe, attracting many extra customers to his inn. Sonnema has a strong character, making it delicious when mixed with cola, orange soda, lemon drinks, iced tea, Rivella, or sparkling fruit water. This liqueur is bottled at 30% ABV.
