Laizhou Finest Select is a Chinese single malt whisky from Laizhou Distillery in Qionglai, Sichuan. The distillery started in 2021 and is part of China’s new wave of whisky producers. The region has clear seasons, with warm summers and cool winters. That seasonal swing speeds up how the whisky works with the wood while it matures, shaping its flavor over time. In 2025, this whisky was awarded a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
