Grant's, 12 years - Triple Wood 1 litre
Grant's 12 Year Old Triple Wood is a Scotch blended whisky aged for a minimum of 12 years. For this whisky, producer William Grant & Sons uses a combination of malt and grain whiskies matured in three types of oak casks: ex-bourbon casks, American oak casks, and former sherry casks. This combination is known as Triple Wood.
Maturation in different cask types contributes to the whisky’s character. Ex-bourbon casks provide notes of vanilla and gentle sweetness, while sherry casks add fruity and spicy aromas. American oak casks contribute additional woody influences to the overall profile.
Grant's is one of Scotland’s best-known blended whisky brands and is produced by William Grant & Sons, an independent family-owned company founded in 1887. The brand is also known for its distinctive triangular bottle, which has been used since the 1950s.
