Glenfiddich is one of the best-known names in the world of Scotch whisky. Founded by William Grant in 1887, the distillery is still family-owned today. For this edition, the familiar twelve-year-old Glenfiddich gets a little extra attention. After its regular maturation, the whisky is finished in casks that previously held rum, giving this classic a fresh twist and a touch of the tropical rum world. The name Glenfiddich comes from Gaelic and means ‘Valley of the Deer’. The famous deer on the logo is therefore no coincidence and has become an unmistakable part of the Glenfiddich bottle.
