A new dawn started for GlenAllachie when whisky industry veteran Billy Walker swooped in and bought the distillery in 2017. This Speyside distillery has since developed into a surprising and quality brand. Walker is known for his willingness to experiment with different cask types, something he is very capable at. This GlenAllachie 12 Y – Pedro Ximénez is a good example, receiving a finish in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for over 2 years. This oozes classic sherry aromas and flavors.
