Get 27 is a classic French peppermint liqueur with an intense mint flavor, fresh aromas, and a striking green color. The brand was created in 1796 by the brothers Jean and Pierre Get in Revel, Lauragais, and was officially registered in 1868 as Pippermint GET. The name refers to the original alcohol content of 27 percent; the current content is lower, at 17.9 percent. At the time, peppermint oil from England was used, giving the liqueur its characteristic flavor.
