Filey Bay - Flagship 70cl

The whisky comes from Spirit of Yorkshire, a distillery on the east coast of the county of Yorkshire. Everything takes place on a single site, from growing the barley to distilling and maturation. The whisky matures in first fill bourbon casks. The distillery uses locally grown barley. The malt is processed in the traditional way and then twice distilled in copper stills. The whisky is bottled at forty six percent alcohol. Filey Bay is the first commercial single malt from Yorkshire, named after the coastline the distillery overlooks.
