Companero Elixir Extra is a rum from Venezuela that is distilled from molasses and aged in oak barrels. The aging process follows a blend of younger and older rums, increasing the complexity of the flavor. The alcohol content is 40 percent. The name “Elixir Extra” refers to the longer maturation and the milder, round style of the rum.
