Bushmills 30 Year Old is an Irish single malt whiskey aged for 30 years. The whiskey is triple distilled from 100% malted barley. Maturation begins in bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry butts, followed by 16 years in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Spain. This expression is one of Bushmills’ oldest permanent releases and demonstrates how cask maturation shapes the character of a whiskey. The combination of three cask types and an exceptionally long maturation period makes this release a distinctive part of the distillery’s range. Bushmills produces its whiskey in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The brand traces its heritage to a distilling licence granted in 1608, making it one of the oldest names in Irish whiskey history.
