Bols is a Dutch distillery, founded in 1575 in Amsterdam. Bols Advocaat Dun is an egg liqueur made from egg yolk, sugar, and alcohol. This version has a lighter, thinner texture than traditional advocaat, making it ideal for drinking or using in cocktails and desserts. Advocaat is originally a Dutch liqueur. The name comes from an old South American version made with avocado; Dutch producers replaced the avocado with egg yolk, creating the modern form of the liqueur.
