Blanton’s Gold Edition is a single barrel bourbon from Kentucky. Each bottle is drawn from a single barrel and is not blended with other barrels. This creates slight variations between batches, which is characteristic of the single barrel process. The bourbon is distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, one of the oldest still-operating distilleries in the United States. The Gold Edition has an alcohol content of 51.5 percent.
