Baileys 1.5 litres
The first Irish Cream liqueur was launched internationally in 1979 by Gilbey's, a gin and wine company from Dublin, which wanted to create a drink combining two typically Irish products: milk and whiskey. After several failed attempts, it was discovered that when making cream from milk, the milk protein had to be removed and only added back later. This process finally allowed the two ingredients to be combined, with the whiskey helping to prevent the cream from spoiling.
