About Bunnahabhain
Bunnahabhain is a Scottish Islay single malt whisky. The distillery was built in 1881 and is located on the northeastern tip of the island, slightly north of Port Askaig. From this point, one looks out over the Sound of Islay and has a view of the nearby island of Jura.
The Bunnahabhain whisky is one of the milder whiskies from Islay with less use of peat smoke. In the distillery, a blend is also made from spirit of all seven distilleries on Islay, mixed with Northern Island whisky, under the name Black Bottle.
