Types of Cognac

Separate from all cognac brands there are actually only a few real types cognac, they are:

V.S. Cognac stands for "Very Special" and is aged for at least 2 years. It is great to drink neat or on the rocks.

V.S.O.P. Cognac or "Very Superior Old Pale" is aged for at least 4 years and has a softer character than V.S. Cognac.

X.O. Cognac or "Extra Old" is the oldest of the three types of cognac and is aged for at least 10 years.
