Types of Tequila

Apart from all the different tequila brands there are actually only a few real types tequila, those are:

Blanco, or Silver, is tequila in its purest form and is usually bottled immediately after the last distillation.

Reposado Tequila is aged for 2 to 12 months and has a smooth flavor with notes of oak, vanilla, and caramel.

Añejo Tequila is aged from 1 to 4 years and tastes richer, with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. Añejo tequila is best enjoyed neat with ice.
