One of the southernmost distilleries in the Speyside region of Scotland, Speyside Distillery is quite the player in the world of single malt. It took 30 years before the building plans were finally realized, but in 1990 the Speyside Distillery finally began producing single malt whisky. In recent years they’ve opened the eyes of whisky enthusiasts with their quality product, releasing a new Spey 10 Y earlier this year. This single malt Scotch matured in both Bourbon and Port casks. Only 3,000 bottles were produced.
