The Dufftown distillery, from the place of the same name in the middle of the Speyside, was opened in 1896. The distillery has been producing whisky for many years, mainly used by blenders. For some years now, the parent company Diageo has also been distributing Dufftown single Malt under the name Singleton. This Spey Cascade is named after the flyfishes, which are used to fish salmon in the Spey river. The whisky has no age indication and is supple and soft.
