Types of Rum

Apart from all rum brands and rum from different countries, there are actually only a few true types of rum, which are:

Dark Rum is delicious to drink neat or with ice and has a much deeper character than white and gold Rum.

White Rum often has a much milder flavor compared to dark rum and is primarily used for mixing.

Gold Rum has a fresher taste compared to dark rum, but has more complexity and character than white rum.

Flavored Rum is rum with an added flavor, quickly transporting you to tropical climates with delightful fruit or spice tastes.
