Also known as ‘The Genuine Maritime Malt’, Old Pulteney is produced in the historic fishing port of Wick in the far North of Scotland. For a quarter century, casks of the rare Old Pulteney 25 Y have breathed the invigorating sea air, instilling the whisky with a distinct coastal influence. It aged firstly in American oak, whilst adding a layer of spices and sweetness via a second maturation in Spanish oak. The Old Pulteney 25 Y is a perfect embodiment of the seaside town of Wick and Pulteney’s craftsmanship.
