This single malt from one of the most remote distilleries in Scotland, grew out a wonderful marriage between spirit, matured in ex-bourbon casks and spirit, matured in first fill Spanish and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Compared to the 17 year old, for this single malt a larger proportion of ex-Oloroso sherry casks is used in relation to the ex-bourbon barrels. In 2012, Jim Murray gave this special whisky 97.5 points.
