Where is Beluga Vodka made?
Beluga Vodka has been around since 2002. That year, the first 38 bottles rolled off the production line of the Marlinsk distillery. The history of this distillery takes us back to 1900. But it is mainly the location of Marlinsk that stands out.
Marlinsk is located in a remote area of Siberia, just north of the Altai Republic in the city of the same name. This city is situated in the Kemerovo region in southwestern Siberia at the foot of the South Siberian mountains. There is a good reason why the distillery was established here. Only here can you find the Siberian source water at 300 meters below the surface. This pure spring water is the key to the high quality of Beluga Vodka.
How is Beluga Vodka made?
Beluga Vodka is a true craft vodka that is also eco-friendly and naturally produced.
The neutral alcohol is made in Itkul in the Altai Republic. This distillery is located in the Siberian Taiga between Kazakhstan and Mongolia. This location was chosen because of the pristine and pure nature. This is an important feature of Beluga Vodka, which is known for its unparalleled pure taste.
Beluga Vodka is made from wheat that is grown on the Russian steppe. Wheat is preferred for Beluga Vodka because this type of grain can ferment without chemical aids. This means that Beluga's vodka can be made completely without additives. Once the fermentation period is over, it is distilled and rectified in Itkul. The spirit is distilled a total of five times.
When the spirit is ready, it is transported to Marlinsk. The strength of the spirit is then reduced with pure spring water. Afterwards, a double filtration takes place. First through quartz and then through a layer of birch charcoal of over 10 meters. There is no purer vodka!
