The Laphroaig distillery, founded in 1815 on Scotland’s southern coast, is known for its smoky style, created by drying malt over peat. Lore is a blend of casks of different ages and types, including ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and older casks, resulting in a complex whisky with a balance of peat smoke, oak sweetness, and subtle fruit. The name “Lore” refers to Laphroaig’s tradition and history. The whisky is bottled at 48% ABV.
