The character of this region finds itself at a cross between Lowland and the West Highlands; full of flavor, possibly smoky and salty with a floral aftertaste. Campbeltown is the smallest and least known whisky region in Scotland. Glen Scotia is one of the 3 remaining distilleries of what was once the whisky bastion, founded in 1832. Recently, 5 new bottlings, were released limitary, including this particular 12 year old.
