Drumshanbo is a whisky brand made at The Shed Distillery, a small producer in the heart of Ireland. With their Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey they hark back to a traditional style of Irish whiskey. Where single malt whisky is made exclusively from malted barley, Drumshanbo – Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has a slightly more complicated recipe. They also use unmalted barley and Irish Barra oats. After fermentation it is triple distilled and matured in a combination of Kentucky bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
