Types of Champagne

Apart from all champagne brands and champagne from different countries, there are actually only a few true types of champagne, which are:

Brut Champagne is the most popular type of champagne and has a dry yet balanced taste.

Demi-sec or "semi-dry" Champagne is much sweeter than Brut due to the amount of sugar.

Extra Brut Champagne is the driest type of champagne and contains much less sugar.
