What is the recipe of Gordon's Gin?
Strangely enough, the recipe has remained a secret for 250 years. At Gordon's, they keep their lips sealed. But of course, there are rumors. It is said that the gin is distilled three times. The main botanicals that give Gordon's its distinctive flavor are juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, licorice, orris root, ginger, citrus peels, nutmeg, and cinnamon oil.
According to Gordon's, up to 3000 different botanicals are examined annually to find the exact blend of flavors. All to keep the taste of Gordon's at the same high level year after year. The juniper berries are personally selected and stored for two years, aiming for a more concentrated juniper flavor.
