About Dallas Dhu
In the Scottish Speyside there is also a place called Dallas, much smaller than the Texan Dallas. In 1899, a distillery called Dallas Dhu was built there, which was closed in 1983. It has since become a distillery museum where unfortunately no whisky is made anymore.
Dallas Dhu was known as a beautiful after dinner malt, soft as silk, with nice notes of honey.
