About Convalmore

The Convalmore Distillery was built in 1894 in Dufftown by Convalmore-Glenlivet Distillery Co Ltd. The distillery was partially destroyed by a fire in 1909. The distillery was quickly rebuilt. UDV bought the distillery in 1925 and sold it in 1990 to the owner ofGlenfiddichandBalvenieWilliam Grant & Sonsthat uses the buildings. Whisky has not been made there since 1985 and is therefore rarer.
