Banks 5 Island Rum is inspired by the travels of 18th century English botanist Joseph Banks. The eponymous rum consists of a blend of 21 different pot and column distilled rums, sourced from six distilleries from five countries. Most of Banks 5 Island Rum is made in Trinidad, but parts of the blend are distilled in Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana and Indonesia.
