Aberfeldy has released a limited-edition single malt finished in French oak casks that previously held Pomerol Bordeaux wine. Pomerol is one of the smallest of all major Bordeaux wine appellations. The Aberfeldy, 15 Y Limited Edition first matured in bourbon casks before receiving a perfectly timed finish. After 4-5 months in the wine casks, this whisky is one of the better wine experiments out there.
