Akashi - Meïsei 50cl

De White Oak distilleerderij werd gebouwd in 1984 en ligt in de stad Akashi op het eiland Honshu. Whisky’s van deze distilleerderij zijn slechts sporadisch verkrijgbaar in Europa. Slechts zo’n 3% van de productie wordt als single malt gebotteld. Hun eerste whisky kwam pas in 2007 op de markt en sindsdien zijn er diverse limited releases verschenen. Deze Akashi Meïsei, Japans voor ‘roem’, heeft gerijpt op vaten van Amerikaans eikenhout en is een prachtig voorbeeld van de kwaliteit van Japanse blended whisky.
