In 1689 Dutch King William of Orange was proclaimed King of England. He was largely responsible for introducing the British to gin and even went so far as to make his own. The 1689 Authentic Dutch Dry Gin is based on the King’s original recipe, uncovered from the British Library. But while all the ingredients were listed, the quantities were coded. Together with the experienced distillers of Herman Jansen in Schiedam they nonetheless created a delicious gin based on the original ingredients, including red quince, juniper, lemon peel and aniseed.

Created by Charles Tanqueray in 1830, Tanqueray London Dry Gin is made today according to the same classic, timeless recipe. Its iconic bottle shape is inspired by a three-part cocktail shaker made famous during Prohibition’s classic cocktail movement in the ‘Roaring 1920s.’ The pineapple fruit, which was once considered so exotic that it became the ultimate symbol of hospitality in 1830s England, featured in the Tanqueray family crest and it adorns every bottle from the Tanqueray Distilling Company.

Gabriel Boudier has been a small distillery in the Dijon region since 1874. Based on an old colonial recipe of 8 natural botanicals, the Saffron Gin is distilled in small quantities in traditional copper pot stills. The ingredients used are juniper, coriander, lemon, orange peel, angelica seeds, orris and fennel, but of course also saffron, which gives the Gin its beautiful orange colour, making you first think it's a liqueur. Don't be mistaken; this is a very nice full and spicy Gin.

Charles Tanqueray was a young British distiller who founded his own brand of gin in London in 1830 at the age of 20. He was known for his boldness and creativity, and his gin soon became famous for its bright flavor with four classic botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica and licorice. During his travels through France, Charles became inspired by the rich flavors and aromas of the country. This is reflected in the Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale, a modern gin that combines classic Tanqueray with juicy French blackcurrants, soft vanilla and floral notes of black orchid. The result is a fruity, elegant gin with a touch of mystery.

This distillery has been producing gin since 1793. Their Navy Strength is legendary; for over 200 years, no warship has left the harbor without a bottle on board. The recipe for Plymouth Gin has always been based on seven botanicals: juniper, coriander, cardamom, orange and lemon peel, orris root, and angelica root.

A rather odd Gin, made from grape alcohol; also the basis of Cognac. The creator is Eurowinegate, located in the French Cognac area. Their intention was to create a real French Gin. The name Floraison refers to the period when the vines have finished flowering and the grapes begin to grow. The herbs used are juniper, coriander, coriander, cassichors, lime, pepperberries and liquorice. The Gin is very floral; almost as if you're walking between flowering vines.

The name of this English Gin dates from 1920. At the time of the reclamation, the quality of homemade American Gin was not very good. By putting the Gin in a bath for a while, the taste became a bit better. Another explanation is that people used to mix alcohol with all kinds of herbs at home in their bath to make their own Gin. This Bathtub Gin is also made this way, with juniper, coriander, orange, cinnamon, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
